SHOW INTRODUCTION Increasingly, children are getting diagnosed and medicated. Why are so many children currently suffering from symptoms that put them into a class of spectrums like Autism, ADHD, and Tourette’s? And are parents powerless to prevent and treat these syndromes? Today we examine the roots of these diagnoses as childhood neurologic brain injuries. Understanding their etiology offers choice. We can protect children and advocate for changes in public health policies so that the environment we live in, the products we buy, and the food we eat are less provocative. But first let’s look at how and why children are so vulnerable and how we can intervene to protect them and treat them without causing more harm.
