SHOW INTRODUCTION During challenging economic times people are comforted by having control over the small details of their lives. I talk to people who have rediscovered doing simple things that they haven’t been taking the time to do before. Raising food is high on the list. And the benefits of doing it exceeds it’s economic value. Fresh food raised in an ecological, non-industrial way is always better tasting. Children raised around food production have a very different relationship to, for example, vegetables because they taste better! We have two guests today who have devoted their lives to raising food using nature as a guide. Join us for this hour as we immerse ourselves in the world of plants, soil, and seasons.
