SHOW INTRODUCTION When I began studying physiology and health over thirty years ago, I was astonished at how much the function of the systems of the human body work like our planet and how much the interdependence of the systems and the actions that occurred as pathways were reminiscent of the teachings of ancient Buddhist and Yogic practices. Actions cause reactions that cause a cascade of events. All systems are intrinsically linked and nothing that happens in one is an isolated event. Isn’t this what we’re facing now that the continued survival of our planet as we know it is in question? Why then is it so hard for people to discover these principals in the individual universe of their own body ecology? Look closely and you’ll discover there is a spiral down into smaller and smaller ecosystems and life forms, each with its own balance to maintain. I always think of this as I chase ants out of our outdoor bathtub with my huge finger. It’s clear that they want to live. So many layers, so many individual universes all following the same principles. Life is a force nourished and supported by health and balance. Join us today as we explore how these principals apply to your own health maintenance.
