SHOW INTRODUCTION For several of the 20 years I lived in Berkeley, I used to pick up a free copy of "The Felix Letter: A Commentary on Nutrition" from the vitamin store I frequented. I was always grateful to find someone writing about health in a way that validated all of my own discoveries. I particularly enjoyed its warmth and humor. Imagine how thrilled I was when I received a tape order and a note on paper with the familiar cartoon of Clara Felix. We became friends and more. Clara was really almost a second mother for me who mentored my work. I will always think about our conversations peppered with Yiddish and laughter with gratitude that I was lucky enough to have known her. Today I'm joined by her eldest son, Elliot Wagner, to memorialize her work and spirit.
