SHOW INTRODUCTION I recently had the pleasure of hearing a local food journalist discuss his recommendations for food choices based on the politics of production and health. What a good topic. What troubled me was that he made pronouncements without a context, and indeed when pressed there were gaps in his grasp of the relationship between food and health. When deciding what to eat, who you are, and what you think and feel are important as well as how your decisions impact the health of the planet.
