SHOW INTRODUCTION Reading our guest's book I came across an extraordinary paragraph. In it he describes the deterioration that we normally associate with aging as actually being chronic disease. He goes on to say "Healthy individuals remain relatively strong throughout their lives and deteriorate rapidly as they near death." This different view comes from the study of homeopathy in which we find that symptoms suppressed drive disease deeper into the body resulting in chronic lifelong illness, not distinct diseases but individual long-term illness that persists a lifetime. This again in contrast to the healthy who only break down at death. This takes the principle of not overdiagnosing and overtreating to a new level. The science of homeopathy stresses support of the body's innate ability to resolve disease. Symptoms should not be suppressed. Think of how well this might work for us. But in the treatment of our beloved animal companions we see the results of homeopathy the clearest. Here there is no placebo effect. Join us today as we interview Homeopathic Veterinarian Don Hamilton author of Homeopathic Care for Cats and Dogs.
